Could You Be Loved?

It’s all about the love. It’s all about the music. It’s all about the words.

It all runs a little deeper than the love, the music and the words. It was all a slightly different experience for me in the way that you can be connected into the Divine. Not so much the process but the connection.

On Sunday night I was having a deep meditation during a Darshan session.

Now for those of you who don’t know what the Darshan is please check out the website for it here: Darshan with David Ashworth. It is organised by David Ashworth, who taught me to become an Emerald Heart practitioner. It is available worldwide every Sunday and has helped me immensely on my journey through this life.

This particular Darshan illuminated quite a few areas of my spiritual journey for me. A lot of it based around change and also having my guides highlight some of the aspects I don’t like about myself. It also tapped into some other areas of my spiritual journey.

But I’m not going to talk about the whole meditation, just one part of it. The part of it that probably caught me off guard the most.

At one point during my meditation the words ‘Could you be loved?’ kept repeating over and over. At first I wasn’t sure what was going on but then a tune started to emerge with them, which I recognised to be a Bob Marley and the Wailers song. Well I wasn’t expecting that.

This then expanded to my guides connecting me into the Light of the Soul that had been Bob Marley. I wasn’t expecting that either. And I wasn’t sure what it all meant.

At first I thought he’s not one of my guides is he? To which I was told no he isn’t. That’s a shame because that would have been cool.

No I was just connecting into the soul that had once incarnated as Bob Marley. Not surprisingly this soul had a very bright Light and it held in its core an amazing loving energy.

As we all know humans are not perfect. No matter how highly evolved they are. And guidance reminded me of this.

Guidance told me that Bob Marley was not a perfect human being. But he was a highly evolved soul who had come to earth at a particular time to bring a message.

The message was about love, standing in your own truth, discovering your own divinity and about change.

Change on many different levels. Learning how to connect deeper to the Divine to navigate the energetic changes going on around the world. And changing the self to evolve on the journey of life so the soul can grow in it’s own personal evolution.

And the message was brought through music. The energy of the music itself and the words within the music.

As we know the words and music of Bob Marley resonated with a lot of people around the world. And still does.

Then I had a sense of illumination. A voice was saying that this was more than just the music. This was a connection into a stream of Light that represented pure Love and the ability to change. To change the aspects of the self that doesn’t serve any longer. To rise above out-dated ways of being.

It’s something humans still need to do. To listen to that inner-voice that cries out for change. To be able to look at the self honestly and openly. To look at the dark side of the self and see it for what it is. Then to allow change to happen.

It’s not an easy thing to do. To be brutally honest with ourselves and to face the aspects of ourselves that we don’t like.

It’s then even harder to change those aspects that we don’t like. But it is possible.

I was given more illumination around the words ‘Could you be loved?’

Could you allow yourself to be loved by yourself to bring in the Light of change?

Could you allow yourself to be open enough to accept the pure unconditional love of the Divine? A love that is always there if you want to accept it.

Could you be loved?

I know for the brief moment I was connected to that soul I felt an amazing sense of love and self-worth. I also felt the weight of that side of myself that is resistant to change. It had a very bright Light shone on it and it had nowhere to hide.

The connection to the Light of that soul triggered a process that has started but I’m not sure where it’s going to take me. I do know though that change is happening so I’d better get used to it. You can’t run and hide forever. Especially from yourself.

So I am grateful to the connection into that stream of Light that has started a process of change for me. Let’s see where the journey of life takes me now.

Thank you for reading my work again. I am most grateful to those of you that do. Whoever you are. Wherever you are. I hope you gain something from them.

I’ll leave you with the words of that Bob Marley song because they may bring you a sense of illumination too.

Don’t be scared. It’s only change. ♥♥♥♥♥

Could You Be Loved?

These are the words of the song here as written originally by Bob Marley:

Could you be loved and be loved?
Could you be loved and be loved?

Don’t let them fool ya,
Or even try to school ya! Oh, no!
We’ve got a mind of our own,
So go to hell if what you’re thinking is not right!
Love would never leave us alone,
A-yin the darkness there must come out to light

Could you be loved and be loved?
Could you be loved, wo yeah! – and be loved?

The road of life is rocky and you may stumble too,
So while you point your fingers someone else is judging you
Love your brother-man!
Could you be – could you be – could you be loved?
Could you be – could you be loved?
Could you be – could you be – could you be loved?
Could you be – could you be loved?

Don’t let them change ya, oh! –
Or even rearrange ya! Oh, no!
We’ve got a life to live.
They say: only – only –
Only the fittest of the fittest shall survive –
Stay alive! Eh!

Could you be loved and be loved?
Could you be loved, woah yeah! – and be loved?

You ain’t gonna miss your water until your well runs dry;
No matter how you treat him, the man will never be satisfied.
Say something!

Could you be – could you be – could you be loved?
Could you be – could you be loved?
Say something! Say something!
Could you be – could you be – could you be loved?
Say something!

Could you be – could you be loved?
Say something! Say something! Say something!
Say something! Say something!

Could you be loved?
Say something! Say something! Reggae, reggae!
Say something! Rockers, rockers!
Say something! Reggae, reggae!
Say something! Rockers, rockers!
Say something! Could you be loved?
Say something! Uh!
Say something! Come on!
Say something! Could you be – could you be – could you be loved?
Say something! Could you be – could you be loved?
Say something! Could you be – could you be – could you be loved?
Say something! Could you be – could you be loved?

If you would like the full experience then please watch the video below of the song being performed live. Turn the bass up and enjoy.

Thanks Jon it’s certainly is a time of clearing out the old shadow uncomfortable to a knowledge parts of myself too. Been guided to aspects of myself l didn’t even know were there for awhile now and having the courage to keep going because what it is exchanged and replaced with is the purest most unconditional love and consciousness that u soon discover is u me and everyone and everything. Thanks Lisa

    1. I know. It certainly is a time of change. I feel like I have this Light flowing through my whole self making all the dark stuff inside squirm. A lot of clearing out. It’s a good thing. And thanks for commenting. 😇
